About Dr. Warach

  • Dr. Ben Warach is passionate about empowering individuals on their mental wellness journeys. He is deeply committed to fostering supportive treatment relationships where clients can feel seen, heard, and understood.

    Dr. Warach takes a holistic, mind-body approach to mental wellness and specializes in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based treatments.

    He completed his pre-doctoral internship at Columbia University Medical Center and was formerly an assistant clinical professor at Stony Brook Medicine (where he was involved in the training of psychologists and psychiatrists). He has published multiple articles related to romantic relationship functioning in peer-reviewed journals. His research has been featured in media outlets including BBC Science Focus, Psychology Today, UK Daily Mail, PsyPost, and Infobae.

  • Dr. Warach was previously a corporate attorney.  After taking the bar exam he spent three months backpacking around the world before starting work at a prominent law firm in New York City. He is an Eagle Scout and lived in northern Sweden for a year between high school and university while on a Rotary International scholarship. Outside of work he enjoys exercising, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
